Add chopped pineapples with half a cup of water in a mixy jar and then grind them to make a smooth paste. Put a pan on the stove and put your pineapple puree in the pan. Stir it for ten minutes. Next add sugar and continue stirring it for about 20 to thirty minutes. Once this is done, add the colouring agent (preferably yellow) and 1 tsp of lemon to the puree. Continue to stir. Once the mixture becomes thick and sticky, transfer it to a serving bowl.
